TASTER DAY TASK - Adapting the Home for Multifunctional Living Design Issue Many people have been appreciating the benefits of adapting their homes to become multifunctional living spaces, for some it’s a challenge. From outdoors, where gardens can be developed for recreation, exercise, growing food and appreciating wild life, to indoors where working from home, leisure activities and preparing more meals have all become the new normal. Design Task 1. From your experiences of the last few months, identify 3+ ways that the home could be developed to help us all to live in a more multifunctional, environmentally friendly and sustainable way. 2. Discuss these ideas with the people in your homes and that you have contact with. 3. Using either free hand drawing or CAD produce a range of concept drawings that could be taken to a focus/discussion group of potential clients. Colour in and annotate all ideas. Ideas to get you Started & Creativity at Work
