Our team iterated through different prototypes to arrive at our final, beta prototype. 6

Our beta prototype uses a four gear system to convert the wind energy into electricity. ALPHA 2 7 BETA

Additionally, the blades were designed to have low stress concentration areas. 8

The Beta Prototype uses press fit gears to supply our generator with an amplified angular velocity. 9

Our final beta prototype satisfied many of our important customer needs. 11

In the future, this design should include a more powerful gearing system and durable housing case. 12
