PRIMARY FUNCTION The primary function of any product is to satisfy the design brief.

In order to satisfy the brief a concise analysis must be performed in order to extract and identify the primary function. The main function of any product is its function: Clock - To display the time. Scissors - To cut materials Electric Kettle - To boil water
