Introduction • Hypothesis: – Alzheimer’s disease and related syndrome have heavy social and human consequences for the patient and his family • Goal: – Asses the factors influencing the Quality of Life of principal caregivers of dementia • Dementia: – the progressive decline in cognitive function due to damage or disease in the brain beyond what might be expected from normal aging
