Summary of the Delaware School Survey (DSS) • The DSS is an annual survey of 5 th, 8 th, and 11 th grade public school students in Delaware. The survey is used to estimate students attitudes and experiences with tobacco, drugs, alcohol, bullying, depression, and a variety of issues facing Delaware's youth. • 2019 Kent County sample size was: – 5 th Grade – 217 students – 8 th Grade- Not surveyed in 2019 – 11 th Grade- 605 students Kent County Center for Drug & Health Studies, 2019 2
