Watchtowers also could single intruders if they come to attack. The Great Wall of China has crenellations so a sniper could shot and peek to cheek if there is an intruder. The Great Wall of China is not one wall it is a bunch of mini walls together.

Weapons in Ancient China Han soldiers used a variety of weapons. Infantry commonly used spears, knives, and crossbows. The crossbows fired a solid missile – shaped object, and was more powerful and accurate than a bow and arrow. Most weapons were made of bronze, and a few were made out of iron. The infantry did not normally use swords, but some officers and cavalrymen carried them.

Armor in Ancient China The Han infantry wore full uniforms. Soldiers wore knee – length gowns, cloth leg - wrappings called putts, square – toad sandals, and protective armor that covered the upper body. Archers had similar uniforms, except they wore pants instead of putts. Soldiers ‘ armor was made of a combination of metal and lather plates secured by bolts and cords. Square or rectangular iron plates fitted tightly to chests and back, and moveable leather plates covered the shoulders, stomach, and neck.
