Defence Infrastructure Panel Legislation Ensure that your proposal: • is consistent with the governing legislation; • cites appropriate and relevant sections; • clearly justifies any interpretations that have been formed; and • clearly identifies where particular interpretations are informed by legal advice.

Defence Infrastructure Panel Process • Ensure that your proposal is consistent with and recognises, established approval/endorsement pathways established within the governing legislation as well as within Government more broadly • Consider the ‘art of the possible’ whilst operating within legislative and policy requirements. • Include realistic timeframes and allow plenty of time for any Ministerial approvals.
