He is no more a sinner but a saint. God’s forgiveness Removal of guilt = Peace in the heart and joy in the soul Cancellation of condemnation= Entrance into a state of blessedness Blotting out of handwriting of judgement = Assurance of rapture and eternity with God
Conclusion In summary, v. For sinners to receive God’s mercy and forgiveness, he must not minimize or excuse sin. v. God is merciful and compassionate but the compassion is hinged on the repentance, restitution and complete turning away from sin. v. The new believer is to ‘‘stand in awe and sin not’’. Always walking in the fear of God, reverence God and maintain good relationship with Him v. Evident manifestation of holiness, service, comportment and sobriety v. Holding fast to the Lord to the end so as not to loose the experience of salvation.
