Peace Corps Response (PCR) • Opportunities for experienced professionals with at least 10 years

Peace Corps Response (PCR) • Opportunities for experienced professionals with at least 10 years of experience. • Helps to meet critical capacity-building needs per PC’s first goal: To help the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women. • Assignments range from three months to one year in length.

History • Started in 1996 as the Crisis Corps due to flooding in the

How to Request a PCR Volunteer • Identify a project need • Contact the Peace Corps Country Director • Collaborate with Peace Corps staff in country to develop a full program description • Sign an Memorandum of Understanding outlining responsibilities of the Partner Organization and the PC • Position is advertised and best qualified is selected • Volunteer departs for country, has one-week orientation at Post, then begins service
