Injection Study Overview § Base Case: o DEEP 2021 HS § Propose: o To satisfy concerns that was raised in the 2015 CCPG meetings around the queuing list of potential generator interconnection request within the DEEP footprint § Objective: o Evaluate DEEP area performance with new injections at key substations (Midway, Boone, & Comanche)

Injection Study Overview Cont. § Scope & study performance criteria: o DEEP 2021 HS o DEEP N-0, N-1, & credible N-2 steady-state analysis o Each injection location will be studied separately and a generic generator placed at the Midway, Boone, & Comanche buses (group decision to use a Baculite unit as the generic generator) o New injection will be increased until significant thermal overloads are observed o Once thermal overloads are observed, the flow at cut plane areas north of Midway, Boone, & Comanche will be recorded o If time and resources permit, we will also pursue evaluation combinations of new injections at the Midway, Boone, & Comanche buses
