What is Decision making? • Decision making is the cognitive process of choosing from alternatives that may be used to reach a goal. • E. g. ) We all made a decision to come to school today, we made a decision in what clothes we chose to wear.

Heuristics in decision making • The availability Heuristic (memory) • The representativeness Heuristic (judgement) • The confirmation Bias (bias) • Framing effect (How the wording of a concept can manipulate our thoughts and decisions)
