Post-Secondary Options • Legislation passed by the Georgia General Assembly enables eligible public school students who are at least sixteen years old or who are classified as a junior or a senior to take approved courses at Georgia public colleges, universities, or technical institutions. The student must be accepted by an eligible institution and must have been approved by his/her high school counselor. Students who successfully complete classes through this plan earn both post secondary credit and high school unit credit.
