MODULE 1: SERVICES AND SUPPORTS FROM DIFFERENT ENTITIES Public administrations, banks, business associations, foundations. . There are many institutions that offer various services to entrepreneurs and future employer/businessmen. In this module is discussed the different entities that exist, and what kind of services they offer to future entrepreneurs. PRACTICE: Search (internet) different entities which offer indicated above. Among them, pick one that a priori is suitable on based on of the business idea and environment of each student / entrepreneur, and describe the services they offer and they carry out. (Maximum 3 slides + appendices) 2
Entities analyzed: ACCIÓ: It is the Catalan public agency that supports companies in the territory of Catalonia, it’s attached to the Department of Enterprise and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya. ACCIÓ focuses mainly on boosting the competitiveness and growth of the Catalan business and entrepreneurial sector through the promotion of innovation, internationalization and the attraction of investments. Barcelona Activa: The organization accompanies the entrepreneurial people from the business idea to the beginning of the startup, working to position Barcelona as a benchmark in the field of entrepreneurship. Kautic. 40: Program that supports the incubation phase of innovative projects where ICT (information and communication technologies) play a key role in their business model. New Talent Program: A serie of different courses realted to the begining of a start-up, in order to prepare the canvas, the business plan and a final presentation in order to be able to present your start-up in front of a posible future shareholders. Seed. Rocket: privately provides them Entrepreneurs with technology-based projects an acceleration in the form of Training, financing and network of contacts to promote the development of startups. 3
