Graduation Ceremony – Grad is Tuesday, June 26, 2017 – Times: • 1: 45 Students arrive at Christian Reformed Church • 2: 00 Red Carpet ceremony • 2: 40 Grad caps and gowns on • 3: 00 Official ceremony begins • 5: 00 – 6: 00 Grad Tea • 6: 30 – 8: 30/9: 00 Banquet at Arbutus Ridge Golf Course

Grad Rehearsal – Monday, June 25 at 6: 00 – Parents and students are strongly encouraged to be there so everyone knows what they will be doing at the actual grad – Girls should bring their heels to practice in – After we rehearse, we spend a bit of time setting up and decorating

Grad Ceremony Details – 2: 40 – Grads go to back room to put on caps and gowns – 2: 55 - Line up with parents in the church foyer – 3: 00 – Ceremony begins, grads walk- up • Grads on stage, parents have first section of rows reserved – Program begins • Included in program: Valedictorian, Keynote speaker, awarding of “diplomas”, scholarships and other awards, blessings, music – 5: 00 - Grad tea/Mingling time

Banquet Details – Location is Arbutus Ridge Golf Course • Official group photo at 6: 30 – all grads must be present • Dinner at 7: 00 • Short program at 7: 45/8: 00 – Please note that this is a DRY GRAD – NO drinking of any kind once the banquet starts – At this point, students are guaranteed 5 -6 banquet tickets = there is a possibility they can get more dependent upon how many tickets students need – Banquet tickets will be between $40 -45 person (the graduate must also pay for his/her ticket)

Decorating Committee – Please put your name on the sign up sheet if you would like to be involved in planning and setting up the decorations • This will involve a few meetings either afterschool or in the evening – Set-up/decorating for the ceremony will occur Monday June 26 following the grad rehearsal – We are hoping to get gr. 11 parents to set up at the banquet – Clean up follows the ceremony and banquet

Grad Fees – approx. $100 – Cap purchase and gown rental – Ceremony sound technician – Ceremony facility custodian – Keynote speaker (2 banquet tickets) – Decorating – Ceremony pianist – Roses for the moms – Grad tea – Grad gift to the school – Official Ceremony Photos – Red Carpet – Miscellaneous
