® Double Parity RAID (RAID-DP ) Fewer DAG Copies Needed ¡Use up to 46% less capacity versus mirrored data and RAID 10 Save 46% ¡Fewer Exchange 2010 Database Availability Group (DAG) copies needed (and resiliency is increased) ¡Avoids time-consuming reseeds – Single site: 3 copies to 2 – Multisite: 5 copies to 3 ® The Problem Net. App RAID-DP ¡ Double disk failure is a mathematical certainty ¡ Protects against double disk failure ¡ RAID 10 (mirrored copy) doubles the cost ¡ High performance and fast rebuild ¡ Same protection and performance as RAID 10 at half the cost

Save up to 95% 33% Deduplication Saves up to 95% for full backups; 25% to 55% for most data sets Thin Provisioning (Flex. App Snapshot copies do not require “copy” space, serve local backup purposes, deliver savings of up to 80% Thin Replication Disk-to-disk data protection saves up to 95% Virtual Clones (Flex. Clone®) Savings equal size of the original data set minus blocks subsequently changed in clone
