Solution -Maintain Aircraft Control • Ensure the aircraft is not moving and Parking brake is set. -Analyze the Situation • Confirm engine fire with FEVER check. • Excessive ITT • Visual Indications-Chief/Smoke from the cowling/Fire Light

Solution (cont’d) Take Proper Action • PCL – OFF • FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE – PULL Perform Emergency Ground Egress procedure Land As Soon As Conditions Permit • N/A

Considerations • Ensure seat pins installed and ISS Switch to Solo before unstrapping (critical) – With ISS to BOTH, both seats will eject if one is safely pinned. • If fire in cockpit, ejection is an option – 0/0 Capability • If required right side egress with CFS – Ensure O 2 Mask on and Visor Down • Internal CFS handles only activate CFS for the respective transparency

Considerations (cont’d) • Communication lost after battery is turned off. – Notify other crewmember and Ground/Tower before turning battery off • Disconnect parachute riser releases, lap belt, SSK fittings and leg lines ONLY after ensuring canopy will raise • O 2 Hose, emerg. 02 hose, comm leads and G-suit will pull free and leg garters will pull through D rings if released with quick release mechanism
