IDEA will soon be offering two enhancements that will further simplify data loading, management, and extraction: • Vendor Portal – a multi-tenant carbon copy of the IDEA Connector environment primarily available for individual mfgs. to enter data as though it is a PIM; once it’s populated it automatically feeds into Connector. It also allows for data management via a mfg’s. own requirements. • Smart. Template Technology - enables a two-way tie-in to and from a distributor’s or manufacturer’s own Excel program directly to the IDEA Connector platform.
