David Kills a Lion and a Bear
Who was David? £ David was a young, cheerful shepherd. £ He cared for his parents’ sheep, took them to the hills where birds and animals gathered. £ He wore a loose, bright colored cloak and held a staff in his hand. £ He would carry a sling and small pebbles in a bag, so when the sheep would try to get away from there flock he would through them a pebble so they would return.
£ He use to sing to himself, “The Lord is my Shepherd” £ He had a small harp, that he used to sit and play with, and produce sweet melodies. He sung hymns and praised the Lord. £ He listened to the birds and winds.
Story… £ One day, there was a little sheep among the flock. He was playing and running and then one day got lost. £ David searched everywhere for the sheep, then found the poor sheep between a lion and the mouth of a bear. £ David remembered the power of God.
£He remembered that with God’s help, he could rescue the sheep from the mouths of the lion and bear. £David ran towards them with his staff.
£ The bear attacked him, but David struck it and killed it. £ David end up saving the sheep. £ The sheep was very happy and jumped over David’s shoulders and hands. £ David kissed and hugged the sheep as he slept in his hands, then took him back to the flock of the other sheep.

Conclusion £Whenever we face a hard situation or difficult time in our lives, we must remember that God will always be with us. £God will always give us the strength to face the hard times and to triumph as well.
