3 RD GRADE MATH STRENGTHS &WEAKNESSES Strengths: • SFE has a high population of teachers with advanced degrees • Continued increased in SFE’s CCRPI Weaknesses: • In 2014, the state End of Course exam – was the only year where scores SFE saw lower scores than both • Each year, SFE has shown continued the district and state. improvement in their math scores. • SFE as a huge increase in 2015 -2016 in key areas; particularly in both the proficient and distinguished learner categories • SWD have increased in the proficient range • SFE had a slight dip in 2016 in the area of distinguished leaners • SWD are trending considerable below their peers in the distinguished learner area.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS ØHow can we increase student growth from the Proficient level into Distinguished? ØHow can we move students out of the Developing range into Proficient ØWhat can we do to address the ongoing achievement gap for students with disabilities?
