The CLARA spectrometer • 24 Euroball Clover detectors with anti-Compton. • Efficiency ~ 3 % (Eγ= 1. 3 Me. V) • In-beam rays Spettrometro CLARA See talk by A. Gadea Wednesday 6 th 14: 30 (F 9 -1)
The DANTE array Detector Array for multi Nucleon Transfer Ejectiles • Used in binary reactions, it is palced at the grazing angle • Limited efficiency of the PRISMA-CLARA setup No γ-γ coincidences. • DANTE (heavy ion detector based on MCP) reveals the position interaction of the recoils Doppler correction. • DANTE placed at the grazing angle, has a high efficiency γ-γ coincidences CLARA MCP (50 x 70 mm) detectors Grazing angle 74° Beam 26° PRISMA Beam

Performance of DANTE Statistics Reaction: 70 Zn on 238 U at 460 Me. V, Θgrazing=64 o Statistics Energy resolution 1. 2%
Performance of DANTE Reaction: 96 Zr on 124 Sn at 500 Me. V, Θgrazing= 38 o #1 #2 #3 Beam Like Fragments Target Like Fragments
Performance of DANTE Reaction: 82 Se on 170 Er at 460 Me. V, Θgrazing= 52 o
Summary and Future work • DANTE (Detector Array for multi. Nucleon Transfer Ejectiles) ancillary detector of CLARA gamma array. • Placed at the grazing angle, high efficiency γ-γ coincidences • On beam tests of DANTE coupled to PRISMA-CLARA: • Around two order of magnitude more statistics for γ-γ coincidences than PRISMA-CLARA • Energy resolution around 1. 2% for inelastic channels • It is able to differentiate between BLF and TLF
