Tecumseh’s Speech August 1810 to • Tecumseh was a Shawnee War Chief that had grown up hearing of Boone’s Legacies and Cunningness against the Natives in the Indian Wars • Tecumseh respected Boone even as he realized his efforts to unite the natives and save their land had long been thwarted by Boone’s success in expanding and colonizing the land.
