Background – Regulatory reporting n Daily Drilling Reports (DDR) are submitted to PSA on the new XML formats either through PSA’s published web services, or Daily Drilling Report web page n The new regime has been up an running since February 2008, some necessary corrections and adjustments to the XMLschema have been identified. - Misspelling of enumerated values - Wrong data types used. For example on comments which are limited to 256 characters - Some elements may be changed from ‘optional’ to ‘mandatory’ in the report. n It has been proposed to use the standard ‘Semantic Annotation of Web Services and XML schema’ (SAWSDL) for references to the definitions of the XML elements in ISO 15926 n When updating the XML schema, coordination with Energistics is required n The DDR user guide should include instructions on how to report ‘NULL’ values for mandatory elements n The error messages from PSA’s validation mechanism should be understandable for not trained personnel - Needs to be discussed. © Det Norske Veritas AS. Background – Partner Reporting n Daily Drilling Reports on different formats are distributed from operators to license partners - They normally have a different information scope than the reporting to PSA, hence an extension of the daily drilling report content should not be included in this scope, but should be considered at a later stage - The scope of this project will be to distribute the Daily Drilling Report as submitted to PSA to the license partners n A common report layout should be developed - Should be possible to use different logos - Based on XSLT created in phase 1 n To enable a coherent distribution of DDR to licence partners it has been proposed to include the Daily Drilling Reports in Licences web - Higher degree of automation - Higher data quality © Det Norske Veritas AS. Assumptions n Only cost of the consultants are included in the estimates n To simplify the cost calculation NOK 1000/hr has been used for all personnel. The rates from the consultant companies are off course given by the agreements between the individual company and OLF n To provide a realistic project plan, two weeks mobilization time and some slack on each of the activities has been added © Det Norske Veritas AS.
