Cormick Reaping Machine in July 1831, which is a main wheel frame, projected to the side a platform containing a cutter bar having fingers through which reciprocated a knife driven by a crank. By 1847, Cyrus Mc. Cormick began the mass manufacture of his reaper in a Chicago factory. His invention made him to be the “Father of Modern Agriculture”, helped with agriculture, contributed to the economy, and supplied more jobs for slaves.
