If you take health during the summer, both Health and Human Geography will be replaced with a year-long elective. • If you plan on taking Health during summer, check the box for “summer”. Social Science- th 12 Grade • American Government (6100 D) and Economics (6131 D) are both one semester classes. • “Online” Am. Gov’t/Econ class meets in class once a week (M or W) for tests/quizzes during “ 0” period. Students must have good attendance, good grades, and be able to work independently. -Enter Am. Gov’t (6100 P) and Economics (6131 P) in the computer. • AP Government- Register for AP Gov’t 1 and AP Gov’t 2. The curriculum/course title will cover Economics standards in the Fall. • AP Economics-Register for AP Econ 1 and AP Econ 2 in the computer. The curriculum/course title will cover Am. Gov’t standards in the Fall. Notes for ” 0” period AP Econ: Check the box on the registration form & add “No Class 6 th Fall/Spring” in the portal. Remove the “no 0 period Fall/Spring”.

Science CV requires all students to be enrolled in science for 3 years. 9 th grade: Circle Biology or Medical Biology • Medical Biology embeds medical and health related topics into the general biology curriculum. It focuses on preparation for the Academy of Science and Medicine but it is not required as a prerequisite for the Academy. • If you successfully complete Biology in summer school, the counselors will adjust your schedule to Chemistry in July. 10 th grade: Circle or write in the desired science course. • If you are currently taking Biology and passing with a C or better, you should choose Chemistry. If not, consider repeating Biology or taking Earth/Space.
