What are the steps? 1. Create a solution (I always call it ‘temp’) 2. Add only the component that you want to change into the solution 3. Export as unmanaged and open (I use 7 -zip) 4. Extract the customizations. xml file and make the changes you need 5. Move the file back into the zip and import the solution
