Layout • Address on top right hand side (like when you start a letter) • Title for each section e. g Education • School (date started – date finished) School Address Qualifications (GCSE) listed with grade (group together subjects where you got the same grade), only include ones above a D.

Work Experience & Hobbies • Write a short expiation about the experiences you’ve had, what your tasks included, how it helped you develop your specialist knowledge and give you those vital employment skills.

Do… • • • Be Positive & Sell yourself Highlight your relevant skills & experience Use Evidence Be brief & to the point Check spelling & grammar Change your CV to match the job you are applying for (e. g. if you are working in a shop you want to highlight your customer service skills, if you are working as a camera operator you want to highlight your camera skills. )
