Development of RDMS CMS computing model is underway Tiers 1 FZK CERN Grid access

Development of RDMS CMS computing model is underway Tiers 1 FZK CERN Grid access 2003: 50 Mbs 2004: 100 -150 Mbs 2007: 1 -2 Gbs SINP MSU JINR PNPI Kharkov Data processing&analysis scenario is developing on a basis of few selected Minsk physics channels (high Pt muons; WWscattering; heavy ions) in a context of estimation of resources. Collaborative centers: IHEP RDMS Tier 2 INR RAS LPI RAS ITEP RCC MSU, RRC KI RDMS CMS computing centers

CMS DBs ECAL: modifications in ORCA for an access to ORACLE environment HCAL: DB

CMS DBs ECAL: modifications in ORCA for an access to ORACLE environment HCAL: DB “Source tubes lengths measurements on HE” and DB web-interface is created HF HCAL: Calibration&Configuration DB (calibration constants, test beam data, computation methods etc. ); weband C++ - interfaces. Status: DB structure development is in a progress

CMS MC Production and LCG SW installation • SINP MSU, ITEP, JINR, IHEP, Kharkov

CMS MC Production and LCG SW installation • SINP MSU, ITEP, JINR, IHEP, Kharkov and FIAN participated in a large pre-challenge production for DC 04 and Physics TDR. 2 millions events were generated (a part of them was digitized with a low-luminosity pile-up) and all the data were transferred to CERN. • The installation of CMS software in the. LCG environment at Russian LCG farms is underway. • The activities inside CMS-ARDA project started. CMS production tools were installed at LCG farm at SINP MSU and tested with CMS production samples. 250 K events (450 GB) were transferred from Italy to JINR using grid tools. The production datasets were transferred to CERN through grid tools (Globus toolkit and SRB).
