Culture What is Culture can be understood as “a particular way of life, which expresses certain meanings and values not only in art and learning, but also in institutions and ordinary behavior. ” “Is a set of assumptions people simply accept without questions as they interact with each other. ”

DIVERSITY Conceptually, diversity may either be understood as variety, in which all people are regarded as unique individuals, or as difference, in which specific groups of people(e. g. . non_whites and women) are regarded as being different with respect to a dominant group (e. g. . White men).

As a source of exchange, innovation and creativity, cultural diversity is as necessary for humankind as biodiversity is for nature In this sense , it is the common heritage of humanity and should be recognized and affirmed for the benefit of present and future generations.
