FACTE The Florida Association of Career and Technical Educators (FACTE) is our state CTE professional organization: www. facte. org. It is known for its professional development opportunities, scholarships and awards programs in Florida, but did you know that FACTE is our legislative voice for CTE in Tallahassee? As FACTE membership numbers increase, so does our impact in Tallahassee. We need your membership to make our voices heard. Once again, the CTE office has paid for your initial FACTE Membership. Now it’s up to you to join your individual affiliate division for just $25 more. You are not a member unless you join the affiliate. You can join FBTEA for business, FAME for marketing, FEFACS for Family & Consumer Science, etc. Please see the application form. We have had several teachers from our county receive awards and $500 from FACTE. Not a bad return on their $25 investment. Many others have benefitted from the in-service points for participating in online courses. You may pay by check or online. If you plan to pay by check please send your completed application and check to me in the CTE office. If you pay online, please email your confirmation to me so that we can keep track of our Brevard membership. Please consider joining your FACTE affiliate division this year.
