Who am I ? § I’ve been asked to chair this WG by Tobias Haas, HTASC chairman, six months ago § I’m leading the computing department of the Laboratoire de l’Accélérateur Linéaire in Orsay, which is located 25 kms from Paris. § LAL ~350 persons, Comp. Dpt 28 today § HEP (Atlas, LHCb, Ba. Bar, DO, H 1, …) and Astroparticles (Virgo, Planck, Auger, …) experiments § Using videoconferencing since the involvement of LAL in Ba.
