The Timeline § January 25 th - 31 st: Determine top candidates to interview using board/superintendent agreed upon process. § January 31 st: Special called board meeting: The top five finalists will be revealed. 2
The Process To Date § Application period for CSFO closed on Monday, January 28, at 11: 59 pm Central Standard Time. § The Human Resources Department performed an initial screening of the applicants. § HR sent qualified applicants and their materials to Lanier Ford Shaver & Payne, P. C. § The attorneys facilitated Board member and Superintendent review of the qualified applicants § All Board members and the Superintendent ranked the top 5 applicants. § Candidates receive points based on the number of 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th, and 5 th place votes they received. § The scoring: 1 st place vote is 5 points; 2 nd place vote is 4 points, 3 rd place vote is 3 points; 4 th place vote is 2 points; and a 5 th place vote is 1 point. § We tallied the scores, and I will now present the finalists based on those scores. 3
