CSE 3: Fluency with Information Technology Computational Thinking Computational thinking allows the person to understand their capabilities and to input those abilities in order to solve problems, come up with new design, and to create the structures and functions. Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel The Microsoft Excel allows a person to easily monitor, compute, and even graph financial issues such as budgets, stock markets, and etc. Desktop Publishing with MS Word The Microsoft Word program allowed us to be able to organize information and also creatively design the overall look in order for it to attract the eyes and to make it easier for one to receive the information. By: S o ma n g Jung Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Through HTML we are able to share information through the webpages we have created. These webpages becomes public through the Internet allowing us to view our final products no matter where we are. http: //acsweb. ucsd. edu/~smj 016/ Dynamic Webpage Programming with Java. Script Dynamic Webpage programming through Java. Script allowed us to have a webpage where viewers could actually interact with the website. The programming aspect of Java. Script causes people to think creatively and also logically in order to solve problems. Presentation of Information with MS Power. Point Microsoft Power. Point allows a person to present their information in an organized and easy way. Through the simplicity and the creativity, the viewers should receive the information clearly. Visual Programming with Alice is an innovative programming which allows the user to create 3 D animations through the given tools and materials. Alice helps people learn computational thinking, problem solving, and computer programming.
