Gifted Jigsaw Activity Materials: -Each student should have a packet of 4 graphic organizers (Graphic Organizer Slides 4. 1 C, 4. 1 D, 4. 1 E, and 4. 1 F) -Each GROUP of students should have one story
Academic Jigsaw Activity Materials: -Each student should have a packet of 4 graphic organizers (Graphic Organizer Slides 4. 1 B, 4. 1 C, 4. 1 D, and 4. 1 E) -Each GROUP of students should have one story
Directions Step One: each group will have one story. Read the whole story and complete the graphic organizer that matches your story. Step Two: two movers from each group will move groups. The movers will talk first. With their new partners, they will DISCUSS what they learned from their story. You are NOT giving your new partners your answers to copy down. You are teaching them about your story, so they can fill out the graphic organizer. Step Three: the non-movers will then tell teach their story to their new partners, so they can fill out the graphic organizer. Step Four: Repeat, until you are back at your starting station and have completed all graphic organizers.
