New Campus Grading Policy Why? Before Up to 8 teachers with 8 different polices to follow That’s confusing! Now You have one!
Late Work Can Be Handed In: • For up to a 70 - one block day after it was due • For up to a 50 - the Wednesday before Progress Reports if due the 1 st 3 weeks of the 6 weeks • For up to a 50 - the Wednesday before Report Cards if due the 2 nd 3 weeks of the 6 weeks
What If I’m Absent? Non-School Related Activities • You have one block day for each day missed to turn in your assignments It is your responsibility to: • Get the work you missed from your teachers • Schedule tutorials as needed • After the extra block day(s) the Late Work Policy applies
What If I’m Absent? (cont. ) School Related Activities • Work due on the day of your absence is still due that day • Make arrangements with your teachers before the absence o Your teacher may agree to another due date • Schedule tutorials as needed • After the due date has passed the Late Work Policy applies
About Academic Integrity If You Cheat You get a zero. The best you can do is a 60 on an alternate assignment AND There may be other consequences such as • Suspension or denial of membership in some clubs (i. e. NHS) • Referral
What About Retakes? Re-teach and Retakes are still available Re-teach criteria and retake deadlines will still be established by your teacher But now – you can’t retake for up to a 70 if you cheated
