Creating a Material Stock Request Step 1 Begin by navigating to the Stock Request Summary page. Click the Inventory menu.

A company can choose to follow this sequence for assigning order numbers or create their own predefined numbering convention so that they can be easily referenced in future. You will follow the People. Soft auto numbering sequence for order numbers in this exercise.

Creating a Material Stock Request Step 18 The Demand Lines grid enables you to insert order lines or order schedule lines and enter item details, such as the item ID, quantity requested, and the unit of measure (UOM).

A default value can populate this field using the following the default hierarchy for UOM. Click in the UOM field.

Creating a Material Stock Request Step 25 The Schedule Date field and Schedule Time field specifies the date and time that the order is scheduled to ship in order to arrive by the request date. The default scheduled ship date for MSRs is the current date and time.
