Timely redistribution of graded work took several days and could span over a 5 day ___________________________________ week. ______________________________________________________________________ Some schools have poor aides, some schools have good aides. The TA's are critical to ___________________________________ keep students on task and it is important to have good ones. ______________________________________________________________________ It is difficult to do outside projects but I have learned over the years how to get more ___________________________________ hands-on learning in. ______________________________________________________________________ It is a little more difficult to have that up close and personal rapport with students. It ___________________________________ is difficult to make up classes. It is very difficult to have school calendars which don't ___________________________________ match. Students with ___________________________________ challenging attitudes or significantly immature students should NOT be allowed to ___________________________________ participate as it reflects badly on the district and affects other students learning. ______________________________________________________________________ Often students are placed in the course for graduation credit not because they desire ___________________________________ to learn the topic. ______________________________________________________________________ It is a shame that field trips were forbidden by 2 of our sites. Point presentations and slide shows and I ___________________________________ plan to use it more next year. Also many you tube clips to support instruction. ______________________________________________________________________ Media, blackboard, pictures and internet. ___________________________________ I___________________________________ tried to use the computers more, but the receiving school did not have the latest ___________________________________ generation of computers. My students found it very frustrating & (I think the system) ___________________________________ definitely has room for growth in this area. ______________________________________________________________________ I used Power. Point presentations a lot and hyperlinked videos/songs into them. I ___________________________________ think they were effective, students performed well on the follow up activities. ______________________________________________________________________ The Elmo equipment was very useful it allowed me to incorporate good visuals that ___________________________________ might not be on the internet or not as clear. ___________________________________ I___________________________________ used the Smart Board on the PC screen for the first time this year. Snow is the only disadvantage in area sites. Far away sites like Tupper Lake are an ___________________________________ impossibility to visit. ______________________________________________________________________ Visiting is necessary to really get to know your students. I'd suggest mandatory visits ___________________________________ during every quarter to each school. Otherwise it's too hard to get to know the kids [ ___________________________________ Well maybe because my course has them on the computer so much. ] ______________________________________________________________________ Budget constraints made this impossible this year, but next year it should be less of an ___________________________________ issue. ______________________________________________________________________ I did not, I think that I should have. ______________________________________________________________________ Yes, gave the opportunity to meet face to face.
