Crafting your Career / JOIN US Internship / Master's Thesis in Diesel Powertrain Controls We are looking for an Intern (m/f) / Master's Thesis Student (m/f) in the field of Diesel Powertrain Controls to join our engineering team at our office in Wegberg near Aachen. / Background / Within a simulation environment DENSO wants to design systems to enable 2025 CO 2 targets within emission limits. This simulation needs to be done for different engine configurations to determine the emission potential of DENSO components for different applications within a vehicle system. The task of this internship is to model the NOx and CO 2 emissions of Diesel combustion engine within an LMS simulation environment. This to evaluate the model accuracy for different engines by changing engine parameters only against measured data. / What you’ll do / § § Engine Emission Model creation in AMESim environment Validation of the model combustion data versus engine measurements Validation of the model emission data versus engine measurements Reporting of the findings/analysis of model emission accuracy / What you’ll need / § Currently enrolled in an engineering Master studies with a focus on automotive or mechanical engineering § Good English skills both written and spoken § Fundamental knowledge of IC engine § Good MS-Office skills (especially Word, Excel, Power.
