The new Joint Ministerial Decree on school re-opening after vaccination (starting July 2021) It is mandatory for all schools whose teachers have received the second dose of the vaccine to start face to face learning in the new academic year (starting July 2021). A prerequisite for school reopening remains that the health protocol can be ensured. Subnational government will assess and approve plans for school reopening. Parents have the right to keep their children at home and continue distance learning. If a school confirms a COVID-19 case, the school will temporarily be closed and distance learning will be carried out. Monitoring and evaluation of school reopening will be conducted by local government in coordination with the national government.

Resources required to replicate and scale up. § MOWECP is planning to conduct two national prevalence studies on violence against women and violence against children (last one was conducted in 2017) § Government will finalize & rollout a new National Strategy on Ending Violence against Children. § GOI to organize National Policy Dialogue on Ending Violence against Children as part of its commitment as a Pathfinding Country in the Global Partnership to End Violence against Children
