Service aims • Use the skills and equipment in the community • Reduce burden on secondary care • Minimise risk to patients at high risk of COVID mortality • Provide practices with a further revenue stream
Access • 2 main routes 1. Direct contact with your practice • Patients contacting you as the eye expert • Sign posted by local GP or pharmacy 2. Sent following triage by Evolutio clinicians • From 111, GP or pharmacy after calling 0800 number • May be your patient

Ethics • Respect loyalty to patients own optometrist • Do not solicit service outside the scope of the scheme • Patient details should not be added to the practice reminder system • Could a ST be more appropriate
