Course Outline WORKSHOP ON TEAM ORIENTED PROBLEM SOLVING (PSP) FORD’s 8 -Discipline Approach Two Days Purpose & Outcome To develop capability to identify, analyse and find appropriate solutions leading to continuous improvement in Quality of all business and manufacturing processes, using a team oriented approach. By the end of the course the participant would be able to • identify problems and plan for corrective action. • solve problems and avoid their recurrence. • systematically report the findings • work as an effective team member as well as a team leader. Process Through presentation, course and Case Studies. Participants would be provided: • an overview of TQM and its co-relation with Concepts of Problem Solving Process. • need for team approach • the art and techniques of discovering problems • use of QC tools and techniques for Problem Solving • methodology of conducting meetings and presentation of reports. • an opportunity to work in a team environment Schedule : 0900 to 1700 hrs.
