Count nouns – brojive imenice • Brojive imenice su imenice koje možemo da izbrojimo; one imaju množinu. Većina imenica u engleskom jeziku je brojiva. • A dog – two dogs • A shop – ten shops • A car – five cars • A pen – three pens I have two dogs. Sandra has three cars. Jessie has ten dollars.

Uncount nouns – nebrojive imenice Nebrojive imenice ne mogu da se izbroje. Obično nemaju množinu. Uz njih koristimo MANY! - Many friends, many balls, many apples, many dogs, many TVs……. • Uncountable nouns (nebrojive imenice) imaju samo jedninu. Ispred njih ne može stajati broj. Uz njih koristimo MUCH! • - Much money, much milk, much wine, much beer, much flour…. .

SOME/ANY koristimo za neodređenu količinu nečega ili kada ne trebamo da kažemo određen broj nečega. • SOME za potvrdne rečenice! There is some bread on the table. • ANY za odrične i upitne rečenice! There is not any bread on the table. Is there any bread on the table?
