Schedules • Be prepared to discuss with your counselor: – Have you completed all for your work? – Have you taken advantage of extra help from your teacher, math lab, writing lab, etc. ? – What is your overall workload like? • Remember: A class that is harder than you want it to be is NOT the same as a class that is too hard for you!!! • Level changes may disrupt your schedule • Level changes are not always possible!
Juniors • The bad news: When it comes to preparing for college, the junior year is more work than the senior year! • Applying to college is easy! Figuring out where to apply is the most important part of the process! • Every junior should have the same goal: Begin your senior year knowing which college you are going to apply to!
Juniors • Junior College Information Night – October 4 at 7: 00 pm • Junior classroom presentations – October 3 – 6 • Counselor conference – Winter/Spring • Spring College Night at Freedom High School – date TBA
