PAY If you are a new Councillor please complete and return your Bank Mandate form and the HMRC as soon as possible so that we can process your pay this month If you are a returning Councillor and your details have not changed we will continue to pay as normal (please just put a line through the form confirming no change) Pay cycle – second last working day of the month

PENSIONS New Councillors - you will automatically be enrolled in the North East Scotland Pension Fund if aged under 75 (unless you contact the NESPF to advise that you wish to opt out) Returning Councillors – previous arrangements will continue (but if you have opted out you now have the opportunity to opt in by contacting ask. HR)

BASIC DISCLOSURE CHECK All Councillors - please complete and return the Disclosure Scotland form with 2 forms of ID

Aberdeenshire Learning & Development Online (ALDO) We would encourage all Councillors to use our online Learning and Development system (ALDO) for support and guidance on completion of the Travel & Expenses forms (which should be submitted to the Travel & Benefits Team by the 9 th of the month following the claim) and other relevant courses.
