Practice Behavior 1. 1 �Advocate for client access to the services of social work. �We advocate for client access to services of social work by finding different resources to help our hospice and homecare patients when they are in need. Examples of this are the Ensure program, food for needy families, and just providing support at any time.

Practice Behavior 1. 2 �Practice personal reflection and selfcorrection to assure continual professional development. �I intend to fulfill this behavior by always making sure to practice self reflection in order to ensure that I am benefitting from the daily tasks that are assigned to me.

Practice Behavior 1. 3 �Attend to professional roles and boundaries. �Throughout my internship I plan to always be sure that I am following the rules and guidelines from school and the rules and guidelines of the agency.

Practice Behavior 1. 4 �Demonstrate professional demeanor in behavior, appearance, and communication. �I always practice professional behavior when working in field by dressing and acting appropriately, and communicating with my supervisors, colleagues, and patients daily to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

Practice Behavior 1. 5 �Engage �I in career long learning. plan to learn things throughout my internship this semester that will benefit me and help me throughout my full social work career.

Practice Behavior 1. 6 � Use supervision and Consultation. � Throughout my internship I will be consulting with several different people to ensure that the patients get what is needed. I will be in daily meetings with all the staff that are involved with my patients and I will be open to any suggestions that my supervisor may have to help. I am also comfortable asking my colleagues or supervisor for help if needed.
