Copying a Planning Model Step 1 Begin by navigating to the Model page. Click the Planning and Budgeting menu.
Copying a Planning Model Step 2 Click the Planning and Budgeting Setup menu.
Copying a Planning Model Step 3 Click the Setup Model menu.
Copying a Planning Model Step 4 Click the Planning Models menu.
Copying a Planning Model Step 5 Click in the Planning Model ID field.
Copying a Planning Model Step 6 Enter the desired information into the Planning Model ID field. Enter "MODEL 101".
Copying a Planning Model Step 7 Click the Search button.
Copying a Planning Model Step 8 Use the Model page to copy the planning model.
Copying a Planning Model Step 9 Click the Copy Model button.
Copying a Planning Model Step 10 Use the Copy Model page to enter a Business Unit and Planning Model ID for the new model that you want to create. When creating a new model for a different business unit, you may want to use one that shares the same Set. ID defaults. Otherwise, the new business unit model may require changes before it will pass model validation or run data staging.
Copying a Planning Model Step 11 Enter the desired information into the Business Unit field. Enter "US 002".
Copying a Planning Model Step 12 Click in the Planning Model ID field.
Copying a Planning Model Step 13 Enter the desired information into the Planning Model ID field. Enter "MODEL 102".
Copying a Planning Model Step 14 Click the OK button.
Copying a Planning Model Step 15 Notice the new planning model, with a new Planning Model ID, has been created with the same properties as the original model.
Copying a Planning Model Step 16 Click in the Description field.
Copying a Planning Model Step 17 Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter "P&B Model 102".
Copying a Planning Model Step 18 Click the Save button.
Copying a Planning Model Step 19 You have successfully created a new planning model using the copy feature. End of Procedure.
