Les Sujets en Français! • Je (J’) = I • Tu = you (singular/informal) • Il = he • Elle = she • On = One (they, the people in general) • Nous = we • Vous = you (singular formal/plural) • Ils = they (all boys or boys and girls) • Elles = they (all girls)
*À noter* • “Je” becomes “ J’ “ when the verb begins with a vowel. – Ex. Je m’appelle Lucie. J’ai 14 ans. • “Tu” is only for speaking to one person informally. “Vous” is for speaking to one person formally or a group of people. • “On” has multiple meanings including: one, they, we, the people in general, etc.
