Self Introduction – “Formal” Version Dear class, I am Dr. Hsin – Hsin Cindy Lee; I am the instructor of this course. I am a trained Applied Linguist with research interests in Intercultural Communication, English Teaching Methodology and ESP, especially Business English. My main research area has been involved in how students develop intercultural competence in English education. I also concern about intercultural differences and similarities in communication styles and manners, and how they affect students and professionals communicate. Currently I teach a wide range of courses such as language training programs, cross-cultural communication, EFL teaching methods and business English at English Department of Jen-Jen Catholic University.

Self-Introduction – “Informal” Version Hi, dear class, how are you? I am Cindy Lee; I am the instructor of this course. I received my Bachelor and Master degrees in English at Fu-Jen Catholic University and the University of London, UK. After working in the industry for several years, I went back to England for further study. In 2007 , I graduated from the University of Leicester with a Ph. D degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL. My specialties are English Language Teaching Methodology, Cross-cultural communication and English for Specific Purpose. Currently I am teaching at English Department of Fu. Jen University and National Chen-Chi University. Outside of work I used to enjoy reading, swimming, YOGA and theatre, but now with a new-born baby, my current hobby is my baby, baby and baby! I am very glad to meet you in our class. I believe we will have a lot of good time together!
