II. What continent is it? This is the driest continent in the world. The name of the country and the continent is the same. There a lot of deserts. It is washed by the Pacific ocean and the Indian ocean. There you can see animals where you can’t find anywhere else. People in this country use plastic banknotes.
What continent is it ? The second biggest continent in the world( 1/5 land of our planet). In the west it is washed by the Atlantic ocean , in the northeast it is washed by the Red sea. There is the biggest desert in the world.
What continent is it? This is the third largest continent in the world. Only there you can see one of the oldest and highest trees - sequoia. Tornados are common on this continent. The system of lakes with fresh water is the biggest in the world. There is a place that is called Death Valley. The temperature is above 49 degrees. It is very hot and dry there.

TV and the Internet bring foreign countries to our homes. It is easy for people from different countries to contact each other and learn about each other.
What is body language? It means gestures, postures and facial expressions. I
You may also learn about person’s emotions and thoughts not from the words but from his body language.
People from different countries have different body languages. A gesture may be nice and friendly in one culture and rude in another culture. One and the same gesture may mean different things in different languages. Now let’s check your knowledge of gestures.
