Project Overview Implementation of a program that retrieves a log file that from a UR 10 robot cell, and displays the information obtained in an organized manner. The errors range from physical to software related and each one is tied to a unique error code. The retrieval program will then store the codes on a server and output them to a user interface using a separate program.
Project Motivation The problem: Robot faults with no ability to read log file Need for fast, effective way to determine fault Will decrease the robots downtime and increase productivity # 2. 9: Fault Data Retriever

Results Retrieval program successfully collects log file via ethernet connection. Log file is stored onto server via schedule set by administrator. Fault information correctly displayed by the program Support Log Reader. # 2. 9: Fault Data Retriever
Results # 2. 9: Fault Data Retriever
Future Work A user interface could be created with real time statuses of the robots but would require an additional 4 -6 months of research and design. Future ability to retrieve fault codes from UR 10 via the PLC will be possible, but no estimate given by Rockwell Automation Inc.
