Getting Started – Associate Laptop Set-up Recipe for Success! Sales Associates can set up their laptop to connect to the All-in-One machine in your office. There are 2 ingredients: 1. An internet connection in the sales office 2. I. P. Address for printer (can be obtained from Processing Manager

Basic Functions - Copying 1. Press the CA Key (Ensures default settings) 2. Set Originals Face Up in the Document Feeder (maximum 100 sheets) 3. Enter the number of copies 4. Press the Start Button* *NOTE: Color copies are to be made for business related materials only. Please do not create color copies of anything for personal use. Page 8
Print Drivers are graphical and fairly intuitive. Consideration for making color prints. If left at default the driver is set to Automatic. This will make color or B/W based on what is printed. Even the smallest amount of color will print as a full color print. To avoid accidental color you may want to change the default to Black and White. Requiring users to consciously select color when needed. Black and white can be selected/deselected from the Main tab or Color tab.

Basic Functions - Printing From the Properties screen you make your selections from the “Main” tab: Copies: the number of copies to be printed Document Style: 1 sided, 2 -sided, etc. Finishing: if you want to staple your document and where you want the staple to be located Image Orientation: Portrait, Landscape or rotated. Basic Functions – Scanning to Email 1. From the Main Menu, press the “E-Mail” button. 2. Place your documents in the feeder. 3. From the Image Send Screen, first Press the Scan Tab and then press the Address Book button. Page 15
Basic Functions – Scanning to Email 4. The address book will open and “alpha” tabs will appear along the lower part of the screen. This screen works like an address book and all filed e. Mail addresses appear in the alphaclusters as indicated (“abcd” under one tab, “efgh” under another, etc. ) 5. Press the corresponding tab for the first letter of the recipient’s last name. 6. Choose the recipient you wish to scan to and press the Start Button Tip: “On the fly” you may manually add recipient’s e. Mails that are not contained in the address book by manually typing the email address in by using the retractable keyboard. Page 16
Basic Functions – Scanning to a USB Memory Stick Tip: You can now store copies of signed and executed transaction forms onto a “thumb drive” by scanning documents from the All-in-One machine to a USB memory stick. Page 17
